Dan Vera
Dan Vera is a writer, editor, and literary historian. The co-editor of Imaniman: Poets Writing In The Anzaldúan Borderlands and author of two books of poetry, Vera’s work is featured in various journals and anthologies and online at the Poetry Foundation and the NEA. A CantoMundo and Macondo fellow, Vera’s been awarded the Oscar Wilde Award for Poetry, the Letras Latinas/Red Hen Poetry Prize, and grants and fellowships from the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities, Humanities DC, the Ragdale Foundation, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. He chaired the board of Split This Rock Poetry and serves on the board of AWP, the Association of Writers and Writing Programs.
